High Retaining Walls, Fownhope

My clients had just bought a newly renovated and extended 19th century brick cottage. The rear garden behind the house had been pushed into the hilly field boundary, resulting in an imposing 3-metre-high brick retaining walls. I worked closely with my clients to design and create a beautiful garden that incorporates various levels, seating areas and vibrant, naturalistic planting, transforming the bare space into a natural and inviting place to relax and entertain. The planting will mature to provide further privacy.

This garden was built in 2 Phases:
Phase 1: Built and planted Oct 2023-Jan 2024
Phase 2: Built Feb-April 2024.
