Gravel Courtyard Garden

The gravel garden is the second phase of the Twyford garden project, and focuses on creating a welcoming and tranquil gravel courtyard area that connects the drive to the front door. The informal planting provides a sense of privacy for those sitting on the terrace, through the use of translucent screens of foliage. This design phase also integrates the courtyard area with the newly-built garden from the previous year by using the same beautiful palette of plants and materials. An elegant, intersecting, porcelain stepping stone path is set into the gravel and enables the family to walk barefoot from house to hot tub.
